Resting ECG Analytics

AI analysis for every 1 to 12-lead resting ECG.

Cardiolyse reads standard resting ECGs from any device and returns rhythm, morphology and up to 300 ECG parameters as structured results — ready for cardiologist review in Cardiolyse ECG Workspace or delivered straight into your own systems through the API.

Why it matters

Cardiovascular disease is still Europe’s biggest health challenge.

The ESC links reducing this burden to prevention and early detection, and flags gaps in access to advanced diagnostics in many countries. Routine resting ECGs are among the most widely available tests for finding problems early — and AI analysis turns each recording into a structured, reviewable report.

What the analysis returns

One recording in. A complete, structured read out.

Every resting ECG is analysed across all available leads. Results come back as measured values and findings your clinicians can check, edit and sign — not a black-box verdict.

Rhythm and arrhythmias

Sinus rhythm, atrial fibrillation and flutter, ectopic beats, brady- and tachyarrhythmias — classified from the full recording.

Intervals and axes

Heart rate, PR, QRS, QT, QTc (Bazett and Fridericia), P/QRS/T axes and wave durations, measured automatically and editable by the reader.

Conduction and repolarisation

Conduction disturbances such as AV blocks and bundle branch blocks, plus ST-segment and T-wave changes that call for a closer look.

Up to 300 ECG parameters

A deep parameter set for screening programmes and research — choose the biomarkers that matter for your use case.

Triage-ready conclusion

Each ECG is suggested into a clear category — normal, review or urgent — so readers can work the queue by priority.

Structured, adjustable output

Standards-compliant JSON through the API and an adjustable report format, so results fit your record rather than the other way round.

Cardiolyse ECG Workspace

Where your cardiologists review, edit and sign.

Resting ECG analytics come with a clinician-facing web workspace. The AI does the first read; your reader stays in control of every measurement, every word of the interpretation and the final sign-off.

The raw waveform stays in front of the reader for every decision.

How it works

From the ECG device to a signed read.

  1. 01

    Record

Take a resting ECG on the device you already use — hospital cart, patient monitor, or a home-use ECG device with 1 to 12 leads.

  2. 02

    Send

Recordings reach Cardiolyse through the REST API, a direct device integration or an upload. Paper and PDF ECGs can be digitised first.

  3. 03

    Analyse

The AI extracts rhythm, intervals, morphology and up to 300 ECG parameters, and suggests a conclusion category.

  4. 04

    Review & sign

A cardiologist confirms or edits the read in Cardiolyse ECG Workspace, and structured results flow back to your systems.

Technical fit

Works with the ECGs you already record.

Device-agnostic by design. Keep your existing ECG equipment and connect it to one analysis engine across every site.

Frequently asked

Resting ECG analytics, answered.

Which ECG devices and formats are supported?

Any digital resting ECG from 1 to 12 leads, from hospital carts, patient monitors and home-use ECG devices. Common inputs include EDF, XML, DICOM-ECG, PDF and proprietary vendor formats. Paper or image ECGs can be converted first with ECG Digitization.

Does the analysis replace the cardiologist?

No. Cardiolyse is CE-marked as Class IIa medical device software and is designed to augment — not replace — clinician judgement. Cardiologist sign-off remains part of the workflow for regulated diagnostic use.

Can we use the analytics without Cardiolyse ECG Workspace?

Yes. Results are available as structured JSON through the REST API, so they can be shown in your own software. See ECG API & Integration.

Can the Workspace carry our brand?

Yes. The review dashboard can be white-labelled or co-branded (based on regulatory requirements) so it appears as part of your product rather than ours.

Can we test it on our own ECGs?

Yes. Send us a small anonymised batch and we will run it through the platform and walk you through the results. Contact us to set it up.

For everything else, see the full FAQ.
